Karibu Grocery & Deli

Met a work colleague for lunch. The people here were very sweet, and the food was good. Definitely living more on the edge here, especially if you've never had East African cuisine but everything tastes amazing. For those unsure, you wont feel out of place, but bring a friend since the lunch specials are better together.

I have finally made it in to eat after driving by like a thousand times! Tonight, I picked up food to go! I got sambusas, chooza chicken, and nomad's ari. Delicious! The green sauce for the rice is a little too spicy for me but the red sauce is just right! Great spot with friendly staff! I will be back to try more!!

Stumbled on this Gem as I was on the hunt for Halal Goat/Lamb meat. (To be specific) Called them to inquire about it and the gentleman's mannerism drew me to go there as I noticed they had a Restaurant also. The place was clean for starters and Abdi was super helpful in ordering for the first time. My family and I had the Nomads, Philly and a order of Sambusa. All of it was YUMMY!!! The nomads consist of, Goat meat with green peppers, garlic and onion served with Samoli rice. The flavors were so good, meat was tender and it came with a green sauce that was a tad spicy with lime. Very good, as it complemented the goat. The Sambusa was the best I've ever had. The pastry was light and flakey. Cant wait to order meat from there. Oh let me not forget the service was outstanding!
